FLOSS 500 Fluid loss and gas migration control additive

FLOSS 500 is a non-retarding synthetic polymer designed to control the loss of fluid from the slurry in porous environments and slurries with salt concentrations less 18% bwow. It is ideally suited for squeeze cementing particularly in coil tubing due to its non-gelation properties. In primary cementing, it functions as a gas migration control additive because of its non-gelation characteristics. It provides exceptional filtrate control when used with retarders at bottom hole circulating temperatures up to 410°F (210°C). FLOSS 500 may be used for fluid loss control in any API class cements (A, C, G, H or cement blends). It may be used with other cement additives such as Oil Energy’s dispersants, retarders and defoamers. Normal concentration range is 0.20 to 0.90% by weight of cement.

 

FLOSS 117 Fluid loss and gas migration control additive

FLOSS 117 is a mild-retarding synthetic multifunctional polymer designed to control the loss of fluid from the slurry in porous environments. It is ideally suited for squeeze cementing particularly in coil tubing due to its non-gelation properties. In primary cementing, it functions as a gas migration control additive because of its non-gelation characteristics and acts as a dispersant. It provides exceptional filtrate control when used with retarders at bottom hole circulating temperatures up to 410°F (210°C). FLOSS 117 may be used for fluid loss control in any API class cements (A, C, G, H or cement blends). It may be used with other cement additives such as Oil Energy’s dispersants, retarders and defoamers. Normal concentration range is 0.30 to 1.00% by weight of cement.

 

FLOSS 302 Fluid loss control additive

FLOSS 302 is a mild-retarding polymer additive designed to control the loss of fluid from the slurry in porous environments. In primary cementing, it functions as a fluid loss control additive and dispersing agent. It is used at bottom hole circulating temperatures up to 320°F (160°C). FLOSS 302 may be used for fluid loss control in any API class of cement (A, C, G, H or cement blends). It may be used with other cement additives such as Oil Energy’s dispersants, retarders and defoamers. FLOSS 302 does not increase a viscosity and improves rheological profile of cement slurry. Normal concentration range is 0.40 to 1.00% by weight of cement.

 

FLOSS 110 Fluid loss control, viscosifier

Fluid loss control additive FLOSS 100 (three grades by molecular weight and final viscosity of 2% solution — LV, MV, HV) is powdered polysaccharide derivative totally water-soluble and form a structure between the cement particles, which reduces the permeability of the filter cake. FLOSS 100 is used to maintain a consistent fluid volume within cement slurry to ensure that the slurry performance properties remain within an acceptable range. It is commonly used at temperatures up to approximately 90°C (176°F) for fluid-loss control, and may be used at temperatures up to approximately 110°C (230°F) BHCT, depending on the co-additives used and slurry viscosity limitations. FLOSS 100 is typically used at a concentration of 0.40 to 1.40% by weight of cement, densities ranging from 16.0 to 11.0 lb/gal, and temperatures ranging from 25 to 110°C (77 to 230°F) BHCT to achieve a fluid loss of less than 100 cm3/30 min. Acts as a retarder at temperatures below 60°C (140°F) and antisedimentation agent (FLOSS 100 HV) for light weight cement slurries and spacers. FLOSS 110 is very effective in cement slurries formulated with salt water.
